Accomplishments

Elected Vice Chair of board unanimously, 3 months after being appointed

Was elected again the following year and have been asked to do it again this year

Chair of the Investment Advisory Committee, overseeing roughly $3 billion dollars of investment revenues, including fossil fuels

Was on the search committee and was instrumental in the selection of our UCCS Chancellor, Jennifer Sobanet

I am a strong voice to keep our concealed carry policy intact, allowing permit carriers the right to do so on all campuses

Chaired the search committee that led to the hiring of our new treasurer

Helped lead the effort to strongly condemn the Hamas terror attacks on Israel

Supported disallowing departments the right to speak as a representation of the university on CU letterheads or websites

Sponsored and gained unanimous support for an Aerospace Engineering program at UCCS, one of only two in the entire state

Led an effort to establish norms and conduct of how the board should work together. We are now one of the highest functioning regent boards in recent memory

Was on the board that unanimously selected Todd Saliman as President

Drove financing and capital approval for a new engineering center at UCCS

Vice Chair of the Finance Committee & University Affairs

Introduced the Anschutz Center for Combat Research to community leaders from government, military and philanthropists across El Paso County to further enhance the growth of supporting the health of our service members, both active and veterans
